This is the one you've been waiting for - 1970 GTO Convertible dressed in Judge trim. This car was built in the Baltimore MD assembly plant and then delivered new in Detroit Michigan. It spent the last 44 years there until it made it's way to me here in Connecticut this summer. The list of new parts in this car is endless but lets start with the 455 Motor from Ken's Speed & Machine in Florida that dynoed at 402 hp and 475 lbs of torque! The Turbo Hydramatic 400 handles the shifting and the 3:42 geared 12 Bolt Posi puts the power to the pavement. It's not numbers matching and this isn't the original color but this car was built to have fun with and boy does it deliver! Factory gauges have been installed and so has a hood tach! Ram Air hood & carb pans bring fresh outside air into the engine and can be controlled by the correct pull cable under the dash. A fresh PYPES Race Pro stainless exhaust system was installed recently by the factory technicians in Hatfield PA so they could use it for their new web commercial - it sounds spectacular! Although there is a dash cap and the factory AM/FM radio is not currently working a REAL Judge wing and ORIGINAL (not reproductions) Judge glove box emblem and correct stripes have been added to give it that factory look - this car is so close you will need documentation to prove it's not legit! An NOS set of 1970 Michigan license plates and reproduction Firestone Wide Oval Tires mounted on correctly refinished Rally II Rims complete the period look - they don't come much nicer than this! I'm finishing up the final touches on this car and am making it available now for the first time - come see it/drive it & you won't be disappointed.
